Practicing Arborist+
An Arborist that is able to undertake practical operations in tree care. These include: • conduct tree pruning in accordance with AS4373-2007 Pruning of amenity trees • remove trees in a variety of situations from open areas to confined space • apply a fertilising program to trees • Installation of tree protection fences and undertake tree work in accordance with AS 4970-2009 Protection of trees on development sites • work practices in accordance to guidelines in Codes of Practice and Best Management Practices for the amenity tree industry • undertake all work in accordance with current WHS & OHS legislation • promote best practice and deliver current knowledge and techniques in tree care and or removal techniques
• Requires a minimum of Australian Qualification Framework Level III (Cert 3) in Arboriculture or approved equivalent • Public Liability Insurance of $20M
Consulting Arborist+
An Arborist that has the skills, experience and educational background to provide diverse specialised Arboricultural services. These include but not limited to: • provide tree hazard and risk assessments; • tree care and diagnostics information including identification of pests,fungi and other pathogens • develop fertilising programmes for trees • specifications in relation to pruning in accordance with AS4373-2007 Pruning of amenity trees • tree selection and specifications and undertake tree inventories • recommendations and advice regarding trees on development sites in accordance with AS 4970-2009 Protection of trees on development sites • report writing and other written documents • develop tree management plans, tree pruning and removal programs • prepare expert witness statements and make appearances in legal proceedings
• Minimum of Australian Qualification Framework Level V (Diploma) in Arboriculture or approved equivalent. • Public Liability Insurance of $20M • Professional Indemnity Insurance of $5M
