General membership is open to anyone, whether you are an industry professional, working in any associated  industry field or council, a concerned citizen who appreciates green spaces, you may be interested in sustainability, or someone who loves trees!

For organisations with multiple members, Corporate Membership offers discounts on all membership types for 5 or more members.

Becoming a Registered Member signifies that your professional credentials have been verified by the peak national body and  will be immediately recognised as a trusted professional. Your company will be featured in the Arboriculture Australia online directory as  we continue to empower the general public in increasing numbers who demand awareness information to help them make informed choices about trees , tree professional and tree care.

Arboriculture Australia validates all Registered Professional Members who operate or work for a company that holds an active ABN or ACN only.

All applications made to Arboriculture Australia™ for a Professional Membership will require certified copies of qualifications signed by a Justice of the Peace.

Note about Insurances:
Public liability and professional indemnity insurance held in a company name will only cover a Registered Practicing or Registered Consulting Arborist member whilst the member is in full time employment of the company or if they are a subcontractor whilst working for the company on a company project.

Arboriculture Australia Ltd takes no responsibility for the insurance held by a Registered Professional Member based in other countries. Arboriculture Australia Ltd does not validate any insurance held by companies based outside of Australia.  

Note about CEUs

Arboriculture Australia™ Continuing Education Units (CEUs) align with the Arboriculture Australian Qualifications Framework requirements. For members to have CEUs registered and displayed on the association’s website, they need to be a current Professional Member.

This will also be used as a register for customers, utilities, developers, Local and State Government authorities to cross reference Professional, Practicing and Consulting Arborists’ qualifications and mandatory workplace training such as Construction Induction (‘white/blue/red cards’), manual handling, noise conservation, first aid and CPR.

ISA Certification CEUs are recognised in the Australian CEU program.
